How it works

1. Enter address – check accessibility, noindex, robots.txt and sitemap.
2. Uniquely upload a little text file to the website, which proves that the website is yours -- it doesn't allow other websites to be registered.
3. Select and enter search engines. Next time, the most recently changed pages will suffice.

and Google?

Google does not report on: IndexNow on, but only through your own Search Console. This takes a one-time few minutes:

1. Google Search Console open and with the GoogleSign in account.
2. Add property and confirm the website – easiest via DNS entry or HTML file.
3. To the left: Sitemaps Click, enter the address of the sitemap and send.

Afterwards, the website can be placed in Bing Webmaster Tools with one click from the Search Console – there you can also see what has arrived.

What is IndexNow?

An open procedure by which websites report new and changed addresses directly to search engines. Bing and YandexA message is a hint, not a guarantee: whether and when a page enters the index is still decided by the search engine – usually reported pages are visited within a few days.

And the “1,000 search engines”?

In the past, registration programs promised hundreds or thousands of search engines, and almost always behind them were web catalogs and link lists that are now largely non-existent. Google or Bing, and bulk entries in link catalogs are more likely to rank search engines than spam.

These search engines have their own index, but they don't take entries -- their crawlers find websites themselves, through links and sitemaps. robots.txt It's not locked out.
