Google ranking check

Enter a URL and search term. The tool checks whether the page's topic is clear to search engines and whether the technical requirements for ranking are met.

A search card and the corresponding content components of a website are connected by a magnifying glass.

How it works

Does your page match the search term?

  1. Enter address and search term
  2. Testing content and technology
  3. Improving thematic fit

No ranking position, by design. Positions vary with location, device and search history; there is no single universal rank. Automated result scraping also conflicts with Google's terms. Actual figures for your website are available free in Google Search Console under “Performance”: average position, impressions and clicks for each query.

What is checked?

A page needs both relevance and technical readiness. The term should appear naturally in its title, main heading, introduction, text and internal link anchors. The page must also be reachable, indexable, self-canonical, reasonably fast and contain enough content.

This tool checks both in one pass and explains each finding. Competition and backlinks require separate analysis.

Why one rank number can be misleading

Google does not show everyone the same results. Location, device and personalisation change the order. A single measured position is only one view, often from a data centre far from your customers.

Automated result scraping conflicts with Google's terms and can lead to blocking. Google provides real data free through Search Console for your verified website.
